I have not seen this most useful little tip posted here.
I just learned this Yesterday.
In OSX 10.7 and newer the users Library folder is hidden.
To access it easily:
When in the Finder
Hold down the option key.
Click on the Go menu.
Library will be the fifth item in that drop down list.
No more typing a path that many users simply do not understand.
This applies to much more than just BaseCamp for Mac.
