3D not working after upgrading to Mountain Lion

3D maps were working on my iMac but seems to quit working after upgrading to Mountain Lion.

I can select the 3D Map view and all the functions work but it is not showing 3D exaggeration (displays flat).

I am not 100% positive if the upgrade to Mountain Lion is the issue or if I have changed a setting. I have tried changing the 3D settings under display preferences and no change.

Has anyone else seen this problem? Is there something I am missing?

I don't normally use the 3d feature, so can't say if it worked before, but I have upgraded to ML. Viewing both 2d and 3d maps I can't see any difference between the two, regardless of the "3d exaggeration" setting. Basecamp 3.3.2.0 also.

What map product are you experiencing this issue with? BaseCamp on Mountain Lion doesn't have issues with this, generally.

For me it's City Europe 2012.3.

For me it's City Europe 2012.3.

That map product likely doesn't have topo data in it, which means it will be rendered flat in 3D mode.

Sounds like an entirely reasonable explanation to me. :)

Anyway, at work now, running Lion not ML, and can confirm the same behaviour with City Navigator Europe 2009.

Likely then this is not an issue with Mountain Lion.
