Delete shaping points

Is there a way to delete shaping points (or waypoints for that matter) on a route other than by opening the properties window and highlighting the point to be deleted then deleting it? Using the select function, I can select and highlight the shaping point but the entire route becomes highlighted as well.

(using 4.0 as 3.3 won't load)

Hmmmm........

I can easily select any single via/waypoint in the Via points tab of the route properties and delete any one individually.

I am using 4.0.0.6 beta.

Was hoping there was some sort of equivalent 'erase' function (or delete option) as in the windows bc without having to open up the properties window on an already small screen on my Mac.

In 4.0 you will be able to right click on the point and choose delete track point from the context menu. Right now you can only do that in the beta.

I'm using 4.0 beta and can delete tracking points just as you described. My question is if there is an equivalent for shaping or waypoints? (I can highlight the shaping point but in doing so, it also highlights the entire route. There is no option to delete just the shaping point as in windows BC).

It works on points in a Track, but that option is not available for shaping points in a route. I believe that is what the OP (slplake) wants
