Adding viapoints using selector beyond edge of displayed map.

In Mapsource, when changing a route by adding via points in small roads at 0.3 mi (or closer), I was able to drag the cursor over the edge of the displayed map, and the map would scroll until the intended location for the via point came into view. How do I accomplish the same in BaseCamp? Zooming out is of no use, because the roads disappear above 0.3 mi.

It's not as easy as having the map scroll when the cursor is at the edge but you can use the keyboard arrow keys to scroll the map while you are placing via points.

My method. If you're using a trackpad you can set the prefs to allow scrolling instead of scroll/zoom. Then a two finger scroll works and doesn't terminate the route tool.
