Sending Waypoints to GPSMap 62stc

Just tried three times to send a single waypoint to my unit. It hasn't showed up at all. It has left me stranded blind on a couple times this trip. Why won't it go through? I chose it in Basecamp and it says the waypoint is there.

Ideas?

Unfortunately we don't have a 62stc (we never get the cool things :) ), but I've never heard of this issue. If you won't to archive up and send us the contents of your /Garmin/GPX folder we'll take a look at what could be causing the issue.

It's working again. Strange behaviour. If this happens again, what do I do to save my unit tracks/notes, reset it, and send information back? I'd like to reset it, but not lose anything/back it up.

When I back up my GPS I simply connect it to Basecamp and copy all the waypoints/routes etc into a folder in Basecamp.
