How to Delete Lists of Waypoints

Several ways to delete. I usually select the waypoints I want to delete using standard Mac options like shift key or command key to cherry pick. Right click and select Delete to remove for the list or Delete from My Collection to delete from database.

Note sure if you 62 allows you to delete from GPS or not. Plug it in and get info on the unite it will tell you if you can delete using BC. Only the latest units support deleting from BC. Most only allow you to delete geo objects (waypoints, tracks, etc.) you have added during the session. You can always try deleting in BC, plug it back in and see if they are gone. If they are not gone, you will have to delete from the gps or desktop.

OK, it said I could manage all my data, but I can't seem to do so. OK, just deleted, restarting the unit. How do I test if it's jammed full with waypoints?

Well, it didn't work. I took out the waypoint lists on BaseCamp and replaced the info on the unit. When choosing the unit in BaseCamp, they're all still there. Where can I find them? I thought they were in /Garmin/POI/

No, they will be in the gpx folder.

OK, how do I know which ones to erase? There are several.

What I do is to make sure the ones I want are in Basecamp, then delete the lot. Once they're gone I send the ones I want from BC to my GPS :)
