This is really dumb.
I drag the starting and ending positions to the route creating window, after calculating, basecamp gives me a straight line. Really?
I searched, but just found solutions for windows version with different menu and options, it's about creating tracks first blah blah. OK. Then I tried to click on my existing track in gps and then click create routes from selected track. A window opened up, and I dragged my destination to the bottom of the tracks.
And then basecamp strated calculating...10 min..calculating...20 min...1 hour...2 hours...calculating.....REALLY??
And then I searched again, some1 said better go download and install maps on Mac. OK. I go to the garmin website, and they want my series number. It's at the back of the gps, ok then, no problem. And they ask for product key..uh..wait, WTF is that? I found the box at a corner of my room w/ full of dust on it, fortunately I have been keeping it.
I looked for the key at every corner in the box and manual and instructions...Tested every number I found and even tried numbers garmin sent to me by email when I purchased the gps long time ago. Guess what? Invalid product key. WTF GARMIN REALLY?!
WHY I HAVE THE GPS PLUGGED IN AND STILL NEEDS PRODUCT KEY?!
Anyone here can help me out? It's a 265wt.
