BC 3.3.2 released

I'm a little surprised nobody has commented on the new version of BaseCamp.

Changes made from version 3.3.1 to 3.3.2:
Fixed an issue with sending data to an Edge 800
Fixed an issue with importing data from old GDB files
Fixed an issue where altitude was not added to a geotagged photo
Fixed an issue a few crashes having to do with editing routes
Fixed an issue with GPX files that had non-standard line breaks
Fixed some of the default routing avoidances for certain profiles
Fixed an issue that could cause some very long routes to create a direct route

It did not update via the App Store nor was it shown as available under the Check for Updates menu item, but it's available at Garmin's site.

Not until it's been "released" officially. I'm a little tired of "oopses". I do expect one of the Analysts will wake up sometime today and post it so that BC "sees" it there (as well as the App Store).

On the other side, I don't see any "fixes" there that were effecting me anyway. I would hope to see some of the Feature enhancements requested in a release soon rather then later.

I know that a new install can trigger the placebo effect, but 3.3.2 does seem a bit more responsive to me than 3.3.1.

I got 3.3.2 from Gramin's download page. Installed on 3 computers all syncing to DropBox for data folder. No issues.

Lost of all the dat after 3.3.2 upgrade

ARgghhhh lost everything after going from 3.2.2 to 3.3.2

Where are the data ?? can I get them back from my time machine ???

Back to previous version with Time machine

Hello,

Try to remove the release 3.3.2 and install a fresh one from the Garmin web site instead of the one coming by the automatic update.
Doesn't work...

Bask in the past with time machine, restore the application v 3.2.2, the data folder as well /Users/bruno/Library/Application Support/Garmin/BaseCamp

And it works now....

What was wrong with this release ?? :mad:

v3.3.2 install

I've installed (manually) v3.3.2. It installed just fine. If those with install data issues are installing over a v3.2.x product, your data was just not migrated from the v3.2 database. It's all still there in the "\user\Library\Application Support\Garmin\BaseCamp\Database\3.2" folder.

My question for the BC Team is why this update is not registered in the Mac App Store and why no Notification in my v3.3.1 installation?

DANHAM, no placebo effect here, this install draws/refreshes the maps much faster and changing form one Map to another is sub-second on my wimpy little MBAir.

My question for the BC Team is why this update is not registered in the Mac App Store and why no Notification in my v3.3.1 installation?

Apple is now objecting to the Buy Maps Online menu item that has been there since...well forever. We are rereleasing BaseCamp to get rid of the menu item, but in the meantime, no App Store update. It typically takes 1-2 weeks for Apple to get around to reviewing a submitted app, so please be patient or go to the web site (http://www.garmin.com/mac) and get 3.3.2 now.
