I am trying to install basecamp on my PC, and keep getting an error message saying "You must be running Microsoft XP service pack 3 or greater to install this software. Installation will now exit." I have Windows 7 on my PC, so I am a bit confused by the reference to XP Service Pack 3. Any ideas on what the problem is?
You've posted this in the Mac forum, did you mean to? You should be able to download just fine ... I have Basecamp running on both a Win XP and Win 7 PC.
Are you following the installation instructions? You should download to your hard drive and run the exe file from there.
Oops.. nope, didn't mean to post in the Mac forum. Thanks for the reply though, I was trying to run the application instead of downloading to my harddrive. It's working now.
