3.3.1 - The demise of scenic routing?

Just upgraded, and discovered that we now only have fastest time and shortest distance - no scenic routing anymore.

I can set various "big" road avoidances but I can't match the previous results. Also, being in the UK, some of those road type descriptions make little sense to me.

Looks like I'll have to fish out my Michelin maps to search for the green-highlighted roads! :)

Scenic Routes is a loss. I travel four months of the year and try to use nothing but scenic roads. I found the the Beta version, set at "Scenic Routes" would follow routes listed on travel web sites with a minimum of additional waypoints.

I hope that setting is brought back.

Try selecting motorcycle which appears to be a really good way of having to avoid dragging the route off of every motorway close by. The routings chosen on some recent planning were almost exactly those I would have chosen myself.
