Since I don't have any BaseCamp data yet, I installed the Beta version first, added beta to that file name. Then installed the release version.

I've used SuperDuper for awhile. So when everything I want on this machine is installed I will make a first clone of it.

I've not looked at the BaseCamp software much yet. Both versions launch and the data folders are separate.

Wondering if both versions have their own preferences files?

3.3 Beta allow export of UTM data?

I always record in UTM format, but when I export data Basecamp converts it to Lat Long. Apparently there is an option in the windows version of Basecamp that allows for the export of data in UTM format. Will the beta of 3.3 address this issue?

I don't know of a way to output UTM with the Windows version of BaseCamp. Most file formats have a predetermined coordinate system. For example GPX uses Lat/Lon.
