I'm using my new eTrex 20 partly for geocaching and partly for benchmark hunting. In some cases, other people have found and photographed benchmarks I want to find. I'd like to use the Photo Viewer to have those photos available on the eTrex when I'm out in the field, and to have each photo appear on the eTrex map at the appropriate location so that I know when a given benchmark has a photo for it.
I've been learning how to use BaseCamp and have been adding photos to waypoints. However, when opening some photos, the "Save geotag information in the photo" option doesn't appear in the photo window. These are all JPEG photos. They aren't mine; they're ones I've gotten from other people (either directly or from a website). Is there anything I can do to these photos to get BaseCamp to geotag them?
