Base Camp shows "basic map only"

Hi.

I can't see my maps.
MapManager imports City Navigator Europe v9.gmapi unlocked. Once imported I can't see them in BaseCamp.
In the folder \garmin\maps I see .gmap files and UnlockCodes.ucx

Some one can help me?
Do I have to reinstall BaseCamp?
Where I'm wrong?

Tks

I'm sorry you're having issues using this map in BaseCamp. I don't know of any bugs that would affect this, so more information would help me figure out a potential cause, if possible:

What displays when you click the "Maps" menu? Is "Global Basemap" the only map listed?

Is this a map you converted using MapConverter on a PC?

Do any errors print to your console at startup? You can check this by typing "console" into spotlight and running that app. Then click on "Database Searches" and check what's in "All Messages" right after BaseCamp finishes launching. You can filter your console's output with the term "basecamp" if you want, too.

What is the full path to your map?

I also had a problem with Base Camp showing "basic map only" -- see the thread on this forum:

    https://forums.garmin.com/showthread.php?t=23088

I found the secret was to remove not only Base Camp, but its supporting files -- prefs and cache (but not maps) which are in the Library, and then reinstall Base Camp.

Perhaps this will work for you.

    Hi,

    thank you for your answer.

I see: both global and Trip & Waypoint Manager v3

Yes off course. When I converted them, these maps where unlocked.
When i click the file City Navigator Europe v9.gmapi, MapManager starts to install the maps. Time of installing is long. Infact, the file is 1,6 gigabit. At the end the program says that maps were installed but i don't see them in to BC

I will try evenif I'm not an expert in these type of activities.
