With BC 2.3.1 and Snow Leopard or Lion, routes cover the road numbers. I know you can hover and get the number which is a great option but it appears to me there should be an option in preference that allows you to bring road numbers to the top of the layer.
Why does Garmin not advertise BaseCamp? If it were not for BaseCamp, garmin would have sold 6 less GPSs in my household. If you go to the Garmin comparison page or product page, I can find BaseCamp listed. I have about 10 routing apps on my iPad an iPhone but because of screen size and the fact I want a deciated voice navigation system I keep hoping garmin will make a GPS that will reporduce the route drawn in BC when uploaded to the GPS. I don't think I will ever be happy trying to plan a route on a 5 inch screen or have the patients to determine the path the route is taking.
