Hi
How do I back up a track? I click on the track I want to back up then go to File, Backup then choose where to save it call it mytrack.basecamp (is that right?) then when I want to restore it I go to File and Restore but the next bit confuses me as a window pops up and says 'Restoring BaseCamp requires restarting the application' Continue? is that supposed to happen? as I can't remember having to do that before it's just I forgot how to backup and restore a file/tracks (sorry for being dull I am still learning)
Thanks

When you do a Backup, you are backing up the complete BaseCamp database and all settings. When you Restore, you restore all BaseCamp data and settings from the backup. You must "restart" BaseCamp so that it can load the restored database and settings data.

If you just want to save a single Track or sub-set of your BC data, do an Export of the selected data or List. That will create a file of a type you can choose: GPX, GDB, CSV, TCX...

    Cheers,
