How do I reposition or move a waypoint ??

Something that Mapsource would allow, but I can't seen to find the may of moving a waypoint.
Sometimes where you drop it initially isn't the right place and once visiting the waypoint you'd like to move it 50 yards along the road.

I've tried using the Selector Tool but that doesn't work.
So where is this possible to move a waypoint on on Base Camp ?
Thanks

To move a waypoint or via point use the selector tool with the option key.

It took me about five minutes to figure this one out originally. At first I thought that the function wasn't working - at least as described. In my installation, I have to select the point (to highlight it) and then with the Option key pressed, I have to double-click on the point to move it.

Interesting, and you're right. Well, we both are. With a trackpad a double click is needed, with my mouse, a single click/hold.

This doesn't work with me. When I hold the option key down it allows me to select and move the waypoint but it creates a copy of the original waypoint so I now have two waypoints. Double-clicking the waypoint just opens the Information dialog box.

How do I move a waypoint without creating a duplicate?

I'm on Mac OSX 10.4.11. Safari 4.1.3 and BaseCamp 2.1.2.

I just tried what you said, if I try to move the waypoint when the "waypoint tool" is selected up on the icon bar it creates a new waypoint - if you pick the "selector tool" icon first then option-click the waypoint it will move it without duplicating :)
