Added ability to save OpenCaching.com search results to user data.
Added new activity profiles: Trucking and Direct.
Added Date Hidden to Geocache dialog.
Fixed issue where importing GPX file with thousands of identically named waypoints could cause a crash.
Fixed issue where search pins would float over the terrain in 3-D mode.
Improved tips in Find when no results are found.
Changed the Overview mini-map display to move with the application.
Fixed preferences Reset to Factory Settings to work correctly.
Change to handle out of memory condition better.
Improved Backup and Restore to work between different machines, different users or even different platforms.
  • I haven't had any problem's importing/exporting GDB or GPX files from BC-MacBeta to BC-WinBeta to Mapsource and back.

It may be due to the corrupt file issue I was having as per the post previous. I haven't tried since the recovery. GPX file were working fine.

    Edit:

No luck. MapSource will not open .gdb files created by my BaseCamp instal.
BaseCamp beta 3.2.0.9 iMac 3.06 Intel Core 2, 4gig ram, Snow Lep.
MapSource 6.13.7 and 6.16.3 running on XP in a Fusion box on the above iMac.

Well, I'd keep trying other processes but my BCbeta just crashed and I had to delete the AllData and FolderData files to get it to reopen. A Restore of my past working data did not go well...crashes every time I try to open/select a any Route or Track.

Only way to get the beta to run is to delete AllData/FolderData files and run the beta without any of my data. Bummer. Not much use to me until it will run with my data again. Really a drag when Restore doesn't work properly.

    Good work!

BaseCamp 3.2.0.9 Beta runs fine for me under Mac OS X 10.6.7. It crashes when copying tracks to memory cards (at least by drag and drop) - already reported to [email protected].

I encountered the same zoom level issue as killtimer but only once. I'm not completely sure that I didn't cause it myself though. Maybe it happens when scrolling on the touchpad while BaseCamp is loading?

Unfortunately, BaseCamp is still unable to preserve heart rate data when exporting tracks. I'm glad to see that importing works but as BaseCamp itself offers no fitness functionality, import is nearly useless without export.

BTW, I like that the Mac Community is finally getting some love by Garmin. I remember waiting for what felt like an eternity for Garmin to support the Forerunner 405 on Mac when I bought it back in 2008.

Are you working on that problem?:
just installed the update - I am still experiencing the freeze-on-launch problem as with the previous .7 beta.
    (Snow Leopard 10.6.7)

I have the same problem as posted and i have an Edge 800 and so the Beta would be handy.
