This beta will run on Macs running any language, though it will run in English. Fixes to the routing algorithm have been made, but we haven't been able to confirm that it is completely back to the pre-beta standards.

Please post here or submit a case directly by emailing [email protected] if you see issues.

Edit: Corrected email address
• Mine didn't find it on the auto update.

Thank you for these features! At least I can move data from Mac -> Win. Not willing to try Win -> Mac right now.

Even though Win-BC doesn't support List Folder's and Smart List's, it's ironic how Smart Lists show up as "folder-icons" in the Win-BCbeta.

The BC Dev Teams are doing good work and it is much appreciated.

We're also hoping that this fixed the startup hang a few users were experiencing in 3.2.0.7. If you are one of those users, we'd really appreciate knowing if this addresses your problems.

@DRTBYK: I believe that win->mac actually works better currently, as this beta's code has some specific fixes for importing custom maps, JNX data, and photos from backups.

I did restore in Win-3.2.0.1 beta two Backup files I made in v3.2.0.9macbeta: Problem - no Track properties were showing and when I tried to get the properties on several tracks the Win-beta crashed (will report over on their Thread).

Regarding Backup/Restore in v3.2.0.9mac:

I made two Backup's today with no additional data added to My Collection. The first Backup has a file size of 97.4MB the second Backup has a file size of 195.1MB(???). Neither of these files were seen as valid when running Restore. I also tried a Restore file made from v3.2.0.7 and again the message I receive is "Invalid file:..." I tried several other Backup files created by v3.2.0.7 and none of them worked.

So, as of now, I can not Restore from any Backup files.

It would sure help if this gets address sooner than later. :)

OK, here goes :)

Export no longer working consistently. When the Export (either GPX or GDB) does complete the file created has corrupted routes (all of the via points are valid but the routing is totally random through the via points).

I have rebooted the system after each crash. Backup/Restore and Import/Export both worked fine in 3.2.0.7 - but you knew that.:o

just installed the update - I am still experiencing the freeze-on-launch problem as with the previous .7 beta.

Update: Backup/Restore

Restore works BUT only if I delete the AllData and FolderData files before starting BaseCamp.

Update: Crash on "Get Info"

After preforming a Restore the beta3.2.0.9 will now crash when I try to show INFO on any Track or Route in a second level ListFolder. The data displays on the map fine but preforming any operation that requests INFO crashes BaseCamp. This condition started after the first Restore using the procedure above.
