Question about BaseCamp Folder

The DataBase folder inside my BaseCamp folder has 4 folders named
0.0
3.0
3.1
3.2
I would think I could delete all but the 3.2 as BaseCamp is probable creating a new folder for each update. I guess I could try deleting the folders and see what happens but having the Folders in DropBox and syncing between three computers makes me think I should ask first.

You're correct. You can delete all but the 3.2 folder.

That would work, but please be careful about deleting data out of Garmin/BaseCamp in general.

And a tip for Dropbox: while Dropbox lets you go back to previous versions of individual files, it does not provide an easy way to revert an entire folder, so behave accordingly for anything that you'd like to be undoable.

Thanks, for the dropbox tip. I had read that DropBox kept several version but after reading your post and checking into restoring, it appears to work only on a file by previous version. Don't know what the paid feature PackRat does. I think time machine would bring back the folder.

I deleted the extra files severals ago with out any problems. I keep 3 macs synced with BaseCamp using drop and it is a perfect solution.
