Hi - I am running Basecamp 3.1.4 with NT 2011.4 mapping from Garmin on an Imac. I am an experienced user of Basecamp and Roadtrip but am experiencing problems with computed routes not overlaying the marked roads on the screen map. All computations are correct but the coloured route line lies alongside rather than over the road on the map. This makes it very awkward to adjust routes to follow particular roads - however, it appears that if you click on a road the resultant route lies alongside it but does in fact follow the correct road. Its as if the computed route is not calibrated to the map - any ideas on how to correct the problem would be appreciated.
If you don't want to update to the beta right now, try clicking on the "N" arrow in the top left of the window to reset your rotation. There was a 2D-specific rendering error for some near-north-up angles that caused problems like you described. This problem no longer exists in 3.2.0.7.
Thanks very much - the reset by clicking on the N arrow sorted the problem immediately - just brilliant again now!
I think I will wait for the final version before updating - I am in the middle of a 7 day multi-journey motorcycle trip and would prefer to work with what I know for now.
Looking forward to individual route preferences though - it will be a great help.
