3.2.0.7 routing gone Crazy.

I changed the main screen Activity-based profiles to Bicycle and open a previously created route that was about 300 miles. BC changed the Activity-based profiles to bicycle and created a new route. I changed the main window back to Automotive and open the route and the route remained a bicycle route. I assume once the Activity-based profile has been applied the main window does not change routes.

I changed the route back to Automotive in the route window and the route went crazy, over 600 miles. I deleted the route from my collection and recreated the same automotive route from the original two waypoints and it was still over 600 miles. I checked the routing preferences and they were Fastest, Highways Auto/Mororcycle.

I think Automotive routing is the problem, and nothing to do with the new Activity-based profiles. If you create an automative route for Atlanta to Nashville, it is 356 miles The bicycle route is only 320. If I drag the automotive route form I-40 down to I-24, the route is 261.

There is an issue with routing longer automotive routes that we discovered after creating the beta. This is being worked on and will be fixed by the release. Thanks for the heads up.

Thanks, if you ever get the time, it would be interesting to know how you guys deal with My trends and traffic trends. I would think theses features would make it impossible to get the same route in you gps as BaseCamp calculates when you the waypoints used to create the route.
