GPX file not uploading!!

I received a GPX file to import but BaseCamp is not accepting it. What can I do? I though that I could just type in the new caches by creating a new waypoint but I don't think I can in this program. That way I would have the new info. i need. Please help me to find a way to import a file that should import and if I can create a waypoint so that I can add to my caches on BaseCamp please let me know ASAP! :confused:

I think all GPX files are not created equally. IF you can download RouteBuddy, It will probable read the GPX file and if you export the out as a gpx file, I think BaseCamp will read the file.

If its a downloaded file you might want to try downloading it again just in case the original download was bad.

You could also attach a link to the file to a post here and then perhaps someone would look at it for you.

What error are you getting when you try to import it into BaseCamp?

Unfortunately, it is much easier to create a GPX file than to create a correct GPX file. Usually BaseCamp will print the issue it had with a bad GPX file to the console. This may give you enough information to fix the file so it can be read.
