Can Base Camp search via UK Post Codes ?

It was something that I can do with my Zumo 550 very easily in the UK, but I always try to load all my destinations using my Mac at home first. I've recently switched to using Base Camp from Mapsource on a Windows machine. I know you can can search for cities or POI's, but I can't find a way to search in the UK to find Post Codes ?
It's much quicker that trying to pick the right town, then the right road.

Am I missing something ?

Currently you cannot search by postal code. This is definitely on our wish list of features, but surprisingly most of Garmin's maps don't support that feature. We are working with our cartography department to rectify that.

ok that's a shame, I hope the development work progresses.
Strange though that the handheld device does support it but the mapping software you produce doesn't.

I think BaseCamp doesn't support address search at all.

There is an option in menu but it works like text search in local environment. It doesn't lead you to building number and
in most cases you won't find an address in other city.
