I downloaded and installed BaseCamp and started to play around with it. For a seach the help topic said to click on the "Find" icon (binoculars) at the top of the page but there was no such icon.? It is not available as a tool bar option so can someone tell me how to get it where it should be? Thanks.
Assuming you are using BaseCamp 3.1, the help bar is always visible now, so the icon is not required. Some changes were made as a part of 3.1, but there wasn't enough time to change and localize the help. You can still use the Find menu, or just type things into the Find bar just above the map.
You probable want to click the show options just past the search button. The show option allows you to search for:
Points of interest, Addresses, Tracks/Waypoints/Routes in your collection, and or Connective actives. If you don't have the correct box checked, you will think the search is not working.
