Rest Area in GA and other states.

The Search in much improved. The icons to add to route, make a waypoint, and zoom in, are very useful. The hide and show search options works great. Even if you don't know Rest Areas are under Auto Services, you can search for All POI, type rest area, and click a found rest area to determine the category and not have to type the next. The Check boxes for POI, Addresses, Data, and Garmin Connect is much better than Google's search for anything approach. You guys are really doing your homework.

Unless I am missing something, the Rest Areas info windows do not tell me if they are north bound or south bound rest area. Never mind, I checked an east/west bound interstate click the button to zoom and it is shown on the map. There is really no need to add north bound, south bound, etc. to the popup info but I will posts anyway since I have been typing five minutes.

Of all things, one would think Garmin's info would be rather complete when it comes to Rest Stops or Rest Areas. I find Garmin's listing of Rest stops unacceptably poor. Some rest areas are called "Ahead" others called "Road" and some Rest Areas. Good luck with searching. If you are in the Auto Services Mode, you get FiRESTone and other irrelevant hits.

Why can't Garmin simply create a category called Rest Areas or Rest Stops? I certainly dont see it on my Nuvi 765

As far as POIS go, they're a blessing and an omen at the same time. I hate the fact you have to load all of them all over again everytime you want to add a new one. This is particular a PIA as I like to have distance alerts set up.
