BirdsEye images gone???

I dragged some BE images from the "My Collection" to a list I was putting together for a trip. It had tracks and waypoints and BE images of the area I am going to. I wanted to be able to see the images in both lists as I was moving things back and forth between the new list and the "My Collection". The GPS was not connected. I stopped working with the list and deleted it as it was full of extra stuff I didn't need. I was going to rebuild one another day. Well when I deleted it the BirdsEye images are gone. I got a warning that some of the files (it might have said data) you are deleteing do not exist anywhere else. I canceled and checked "My Collection" to make sure the BE images were still in there. They were. So I went back and deleted the list. Poof! The BE images are now gone from the "My Collection" list. WTF is that? There were hours and hours worth of images. Are they still on the unit? Will they transfer back to the computer?

If you transferred the images to your GPS then the images are still there.

The next time you connect the GPS you'll have to wait a long time to read the images, because they'll have to transfer back to a temporary location.

Once you have the images showing in the device folder, select those images and drag them back into a new folder, or into my collection.

The warning box has a button labeled "Keep Items". When you deleted the original list, "Keep Items" would have been the best choice.

Perhaps we should make "Keep Items" the default, right-most button?

By the way, this action was reversible right up to the point where you quit BaseCamp. Just use Edit->Undo.

    Sorry for this inconvenience.
