BaseCamp 3.1.1 won't read 76CSx TOPO maps

I bought, "TOPO Australia & New Zealand: Download", and loaded them on my Garmin 76CSx. The maps work well on the device, but on BaseCamp, the only available map is 'Global Map' (the device is connected).

The device shows up on the list but the prompt to transfer the maps using the "Receive from GPS" button is grayed out.

Waypoints, routes etc are syncing; the device is connecting.

How do I get the detailed maps to display on BaseCamp using my Mac?

If you click the disclosure triangle next to the 76 on the device list, does it show the map. It typically will take from 5-30 minutes for the map to be indexed the first time. After that, access is instantaneous. You can switch to the map using the Map menu or you (as of 3.1.1) click the map in the device list.

Receive from Device is only for user data: waypoints, tracks, routes, BirdsEye imagery.
