Feature request : add waypoints to geocaches

Many geocaches come with additional waypoints, either a suggested parking spot, or stages in a multi-cache.
When I import the GPX files from geocaching.com in BaseCamp, every waypoint is imported separately.
Is it possible to combine or couple these different waypoints with the Geocache in BaseCamp?
Otherwise, it would be a nice feature if you could "add" waypoints to a geocache. Like when you are preparing a mystery cache, and you find the coordinates from a puzzle, you would be able to add these coordinates as a coupled waypoint to the cache.
  • I assume your are talking about the special geocaching waypoint you get in BasecCamp if you import a gpx file from GeoCaching.com. The special geocaching waypoint contains the caches description, log, etc. I would like to be able to edit the special geocache name. The Dakota, and Oregon (maybe other GPSs) accept the special waypoint for paperless caching.

I guess I am missing the point of your request but how would you add a parking caches or multi stage waypoints to the special geocaching waypoints.
I guess you could add multi stage waypoints to a cache like we add a via to a route but I don't see an advantage.

SubFolders or SubList might be a solution. If BC had sublist, the geocache and all associated waypoints could appear in a sublist in the import list after important a geocaching gpx file.

Yes, I am talking about the geocaching.com waypoints.
It would indeed be nice to have sublist or subfolder, so that one can group waypoints belonging together (like stages in a multicache).
What I do now is rename the cryptic names of the waypoints to a more sensible name, so that I can search for them on my Dakota20 when out in the field.
BTW, for truly paperless caching, both BC and the Dakota would have to be able to show some HTML in the cache description, because now all the HTML tags make the text sometimes difficult to read.
