I have Oregon 450t. I also use it on my bike to map out a route to ride..But I can not hear the very low volume beep before each turn.. How can I increase the volume??

I would think this would be a question for garmin support as it is not software related. I have an Oregon and short of tapping into the speaker wire which would void your warranty you might mount your gps on you helmet next to your ear or get ear phones with a mic pickup to stick on the oregon.
