Basecamp does not see my (older) eTrek GPS. (I suppose this is really a connection problem, not basecamp per se, but I'm not sure where else to post this so forgive me or point me to the right spot.) I got a serial cable to connect to my GPS years ago, along with a serial-to-USB convertor, so that's what I use to connect the GPS to my Mac. This connection does work, as I am able to use MacGPSPro to move tracks/waypoints/routes back and forth to the eTrek, but the Basecamp software does not seem to see the GPS.
Any help you can offer would be greatly appreciated.
