Hello Garmin App Developer Team,

first of all, thank you very much for the great Basecamp application! I like the Mac version much more than the Windows version :D

Nevertheless I have some wishes, maybe it's possible to include them in a next release:

1. Create Tracks from Routes. This is a very important feature for an Outdoor map application! I miss it regulary...

2. Geocaching: Support for GPX 1.01.

3. Geocaching: Included support of different cache type icons (like it's implemented in the Oregon devices).

4. Geocaching: Hide HTML tags in geocache descriptions. It's really annoying and some cache descriptions are not readable...

5. Custom Maps: Support of the rotation parameter in ground overlays.

6. General: Support of Subfolders.

Thank you for your feedback. I'm glad we are getting more feedback from the geocachers out there. We plan to expand the geocaching support in BaseCamp in future versions, though it may not be in the next release.

2. Geocaching: Support for GPX 1.01.

What kind of support for 1.0.1 are you looking for? Just accepting the gpx file as geocaching data or doing something with the attributes? To be clear, this is actually Groundspeak extension 1.0.1 support, though it is incorrectly tagged as GPX 1.0.1 support on the geocaching.com website.

Accepting 1.01 files would be the first step, but maybe it's also possible to use the included attributes and show them in the Devices and in Basecamp.

However, more important than supporting Groundspeak's GPX 1.0.1 are these annoying HTML tags in the cache descriptions, as reported here: https://forums.garmin.com/showthread.php?t=9154
