Sticky request please

Any chance of a Sticky for BC newbies with definitions of things like:
Via Point
Waypoint
Shaping points
and their differences.

I think, through reading pages 1-5 of the 'Thing That I cannot accomplish in BC' thread, that I have got my head around the differences, but to have a little definitions primer sticky would be a great help for the newbies

Oh, BTW Great support thread, thanks :)
  • Waypoint - A point created on the map by the user to mark a place on the map. Selecting two waypoints, right click and create a route. The first waypoint in the list will be the starting and the last will be the ending point of the route. To reverse the route just drag the bottom waypoint up in the routing window.

Via Point - Waypoint used to alter the route to include the waypoint. If you double click a route to bring up the route window, right click a waypoint you have an option to add waypoint to route. This added waypoint is sometimes called a via point.

Shaping Point - A special waypoint created when you drag and drop a route to change the route. They are special because they do not appear in the waypoint list. The only appear in the route window and on the map when viewing the route. BC does a great job of snapping to a road and recalculating the route to take you through to point.
