I have a custom map on my CSX60 which I can see in BaseCamp when the GPS is connected in USB Mass Storage Mode (the map is automatically loaded and appears as "Maps uploaded with SendMap"). The map is on an SD card in my CSX60 in Garmin/gmapsupp.img.
I'd love to be able to see the map without the GPS unit plugged in - ie. install the map to hard disk and have BaseCamp read it from there. However, I can't work out where to put the gmapsupp.img file. If BaseCamp can read the map from an SD card in the GPS, presumably it can read the same map from somewhere on my computer's hard disk?
Any help would be gratefully received!
