This feature is available only in Mac BaseCamp 3.0.1 and up, which is currently an English only release.

Can I view my City Navigator NT card in Base Camp? I put the card in my GPSmap 60CX an hooked it up to Base Map and the GPS was recognized but it didn"t show the City Nav maps, just the world/base map.
I'd like to at least see the maps and if possible do some route planning.

The card in your 60CX doesn't show up on the computer until you use the Setup, Interface, "USB Mass Storage" button to disconnect the device as a Garmin IO Protocol and reconnect as mass storage. Once you do this, BaseCamp 3.0 should process the map on your card on initial connection and be ready to route after a few minutes. On subsequent connections the map will be ready right away, provided that the card is readable.

You might want to get a micro SD card adapter and just use the card directly on your computer at the same time that your GPS is connected in normal (Garmin I/O Protocol) mode. Then both the card and your GPS can show up on BaseCamp, as separate devices.

Sorry for this inconvenience -- the Garmin 60CX was developed before we had any idea of supporting pre-programmed maps in software.

I have the same issue with an eTrex Vista HCx. Have the Nort East Topo and can't see it in Basecamp even if I place unit in USB mode.:(

Do you see the card mounted as a volume in Finder? If not, then the GPS is still not in the right mode. If so, what is the name of the .img file? If it isn't gmapsupp.img, then BaseCamp 3.0.1 will not see it. That will be fixed in an upcoming version. In the meantime, you can search this forum for other short term answers.
