Basecamp crashes as soon as I connect my Dakota 20

Hi,

Getting instant, perfectly repeatable crashes every time I connect my Dakota 20 to my iMac and run Basecamp.

I have deleted plist files, maps and anything else in my Library. I have reinstalled multiple times. If I don't connect my GPS, there's no problem, but as soon as I do, it crashes.

Any thoughts?

This crash is caused by a bad map, either installed or on a card or device, in your case probably on the Dakota. We've seen this mostly from OSM maps. A future version of BaseCamp will ignore the bad map and not crash, but in the meantime, remove your maps and add them back one at a time if you want to know which one is causing the issue.

Time for a fix, isn't it?

July 2009 has passed long a ago - is there any fix in sight?
I like OSM maps as well as basecamp and would be glad to use both :mad:
