I have recently installed basecamp 3.0.1 on my Mac running Snow Leopard 10.6.3. As soon as I run the app it closes, no message whatsoever - the icon jumps for about 7 seconds, then it closes. What could be wrong?
Two places to look for clues:
1) Run the console application and see if it is reporting an error for BaseCamp
2) Go to ~/Application Support/Logs/CrashReporter and see if there is a log file with BaseCamp in the name (where ~ is your home directory).
If either of these has information, you can send it to [email][email protected][/email] and we will try to figure out what is going on.

There is an issue with your BaseCamp install. You should delete BaseCamp from your Applications folder and reinstall. Though 3.0.1 is English only (until we get the translation back), your version appears to be trying to access non-English resources. If that doesn't fix the problem, let us know.
