Crash with geocache properties

Changing the icon of several waypoints is possible

... as long as it is normal waypoints and not ones taken from geocaching.com gpx file!.

If I try to Command-I in 3.0.1 with more than one of these waypoints selected nothing happens at all. I was not even able to edit these waypoints one by one. They seem to be handled differently

Another possible bug: :(
Everytime I use Command-I on a (geocache) waypoint with custom wp symbol from a custom gpx file the info pops up - and a second later basecamp crashes.

I cannot rule out any code errors in the file but I used this custom gpx file with mapsource and custom symbols for a long time and ignored the flags instead of the different symbols in basecamp because later on the gps everything looks fine as it should.
It works so far - I just *must* not use Command-I!

If you need the gpx I can send it via email (6,7MB, ca 990 WPs, ca 4 types of custom symbols and the geocache symbol of course)
  • Yes BaseCamp should definitely not crash when you hit cmd-I on geocaches. Would you please send the gpx file to [email protected] and refer to this thread so we can see what the problem is.

Currently the only type of data that supports multiple edit is waypoints, so hitting cmd-I when more than one of anyone other kind of data will not do anything.

Currently, the only modification you can make to geocaches is marking them as found.

I thought geocaches were just waypoints, too.
Hope it will be possible one day though.
An alternative would be to integrate multicache and mysterycache symbols in both GPSr firmware and Basecamp and read the description tag of the gpx file during import. But this seems to me quite more complicated.
