In the windows version of basecamp it is possible to use maps with out DEM data.
I can use my "old" topo maps . For the mac I have to buy new maps or use roadtrip.
But in roadtrip I can not set prefferance for routing.
So it is hard to make a nice walking trip.
Please make maps without DEM also compatible with basecamp (for mac)
Maybe you could support it with the new basecamp that will suppport the google maps.
