BaseCamp connection

Hello, Every time I connect my Garmin DriveSmart 76 MT-S with the iMac (Apple M1, Tahoe 26.1) Garmin BaseCamp crashes. If the DriveSmart is already is connect BaseCamp doesn’t start up at all. Any one knows what’s going on here?

First check if Express is running because that causes issues. If it's not running try an uninstall then reinstall of BaseCamp.

Thanks for your quick reaction. The problem is solved after a lang time trying. I tried your suggestions but the result was the same as always. I don’t know why but then I tried something I never tried before. I toke out the mini SD card and changed to an other USB port, restarted BaseCamp and everything worked. I restarted the iMac and BaseCamp several times now and i stil works. Thanks again.
