Problem sending data to Zumo

Nevermind all the other stuff I said. I will be happy if BC would just send my routes to the Zumo like RT does. With BC I am forced to go to My Data / Import Data which sometimes works and sometimes doesn't. I am at 30min and 37% for one route right now. :(

Are you saying that you didn't have to import your data on the Zumo when you downloaded from RoadTrip? Which Zumo are you using? Is the 30 min the time that it takes to import the file on the Zumo? Would you send a copy of the file /Garmin/gpx/temp.gpx from your Zumo after you've done a download to [email protected], so we can try to figure out what is going on. Thanks.

That is true, when I "send" a route from RT to my Zumo 660 it just appears in the active route section without having to import. Meaning the routes are already in the custom route section and I can use them immediately.

If I "send" from BC or send anything to my SD card it takes quite a while to get the "new data" message and then takes 30min + to import the data. That is because it usually hangs at a given percentage and never even makes it to the next route. If I cancel, it will sometimes pick up on the next route. I don't know how long it takes because I give up and hit cancel after 15min to 30min. As you can tell "importing" is not my fav.

I will upload a 3 route package from BC and send you my temp file, it is currently empty though as I had to wipe it out because all the routes were piling up in a bad way. I've tried to deal with tech support without success, hopefully you can find something.

OS X 10.5.8 Intel iMac, latest and greatest of all Garmin software.

EDIT: I Dragged and Dropped 3 routes from BC to the Zumo 660 under my devices and they went directly to the active routes as RT does  no import required. They are the same routes that I have had all the issues with before. So I deleted them from "My Data" and went to import them again from "My Data".

11:35am - Hit import, 1 of 3 went very quickly to "Calculating route. 31%"
11:40am - Still 31%
11:45am - Still 31%
11:47am - 89% 1 of 3 still.
11:50am - Still 89%
11:55am - Still 89 1 of 3, giving up. Temp file is enroute to your email above.

to be continued...
