Folder and File names for export

When I attempt to export a BaseCamp folder named CañonCIty-2010-2-26 to a folder in Documents named CañonCity-2010-2-26 no file gets exported. When I name the BaseCamp folder CanonCity-2010-26 AND the Documents folder CanonCity-2010-2-26 the file is exported properly. Mac OS X supports a file name with the ñ character fine, but BaseCamp apparently does not.

Has anyone else seen this behavior?

It seems like a BaseCamp bug to me.

I have had a problem when using a red video software application, where the application is indeed mac os, but the mac front end runs a background unix programme where some characters are not allowed in file and folder names. ( in my case a "&" was the problem.)
Perhaps this is similar? Is your character allowed in unix?

I can export folders with the ñ with BaseCamp 2.1.1 with no issue. If you haven't already upgraded to the beta, please try that.
