Some how I have US BaseMap v2 and global application basemap v2. I would like to delete basemap v2 but I can't find it stored anywhere on my computer. Does anyone know how to delete the basemaps. Not really bothering anything but curious.
The global application basemap is stored within the application bundle of the BaseCamp application. You may wish not to delete that. The other basemap may be within
Thanks for the tip but if the maps are stored at the root level (/Library/Application Support/Garmin/Maps/) or at the user level (~/Library/Application Support/Garmin/Maps/) they are stored as invisible files. I only have one user created for each mac. The is not a container folder in either map folder.

If you cannot see those maps in one of those locations, something is wrong. Those files are not invisible.
My basemaps are there also.... well they were. I found them of very little use so I deleted the basemaps from inside the application package. BaseCamp and RoadTrip still work just fine. All of my other maps are in /Library/Application Support/Garmin/Maps/ I put the unlockcodes.ucx in ~/Library/Application Support/Garmin/Maps/ In every user account that needs to use the maps.
It's all working as well as can be expected on a G4 1.67Ghz. I wish I had a newfangled Intel Mac, My brothers works much smoother than mine does. Oh well something to look forward to after I recover from the recession.
