full map not showing in basecamp

This is confusing, what Europe map 29.20 are you looking at as the current one is 2025.20. Also a map separately purchased from Garmin is downloaded to a device and cannot be installed to a computer for BaseCamp to use. Where did you get this EU map 29.20 from?

Sorry for the confusion.   That probably wasn't the version I was looking at then.

I purchased the map from the Garmin website, City Navigator Europe NTU.  I downloaded it to my device (drivesmart86) via Garmin Express.  It shows up in Tools & Content, Purchased, and downloaded to the device from there.

Moving to BaseCamp, under My Garmin Devices, CN North America NT 2026 and City Navigator Europe NTU 2026.2 show up.  I select the Europe map from either the maps under My Garmin Devices or the Map tap on the top of the pane and the map switches from North America to Europe.

The Europe map comes up, and I see all the detail fine for Ireland and created the routes i plan on using next month.  However, when i move over to Germany and Austria, there is almost no detail, and the map stops at Liechtenstein Germany and it's blank east of there.

Now I go to the top pane again, select the Maps tab, then select Installed Maps info..., and my maps show up.  Under version on that small window, is where both the North America and Europe maps show version 29.20.  There are a couple of other maps there as well that i'm assuming came with the unit.  Anyway, the status on the next column say unlocked on all the maps, along with the installed location.

Now I go back up to the top pane, and select Maps again.  Then select Edit Unlock Codes.  In that window, I see the City Navigator North America NT 2026.2.  However, there are a couple of other maps there that is saying Map product not installed.  I'm assuming one of these is the Europe map. 

So my question is how do I get these maps that are not showing installed, installed, so I can see the details and rest of the map for Germany, Austria, and Switzerland?

Please confirm what you see on your DS when you look in Settings, Map&Vehicle, myMaps? You should see your CN NA map, perhaps in 2 parts, and the CN EU map in 2 parts, one North and one South. Do you? Are both checked?

Yes, CN Europe NTU 2026.20 ALL North & CN Europe NTU 2026.20 ALL South.  NA is also in 2 parts.  all maps are checked.

Well that's strange if the maps are showing in myMaps on your device then you should see them in detail. You should also see them in BaseCamp if your device is connected. If you were on a PC I'd recommend running JaVaWa's Device Manager which would identify any issues. Failing that you'll need to contact Product Support unless someone else has any ideas.
