Waypoints disappearing from Etrex after having been downloaded from Base Camp

I am using Base Camp to download waypoints on my Etrex 32x.
After disconnecting the Etrex from Base Camp, I can see the waypoints on the Etrex waypoints page.
But once I am in the bush, the waypoints disappear from the Etrex waypoints page.

Once home, I connected the Etrex to Base Camp. All the waypoints are displayed on Base Camp but still inaccessible from the Etrex.

How can I access these waypoints from the Etrex?

This is a device rather than a BaseCamp issue, but if you're sending the data to a sd card in your Etrex it's likely it's slipped out of position, that occasionally happens on my Etrex.
