I think I found a bug in BaseCamp. When you create a waypoint you can't move it with the direction selection tool. You can in RoadTrip so I'm assuming it's a bug in BaseCamp.
There were a lot of complaints about it being too easy to move waypoints accidentally, so in BaseCamp (and future versions of RoadTrip), you need to hold "option" while dragging a waypoint to move it.
