Missing waypoints and tracks

Hello!

All my previously saved waypoints and tracks in 'My Collection' have disappeared - I haven't changed computer or updated Basecamp (4.8.11 running on Mac OS 11.5). It was about 5 years of dog tracks after moose and red deer so it s a bit of disaster!

Anyone know how this can happen? Any chance of recovery anywhere?

Not sure on a mac but on a windows machine search for AllData.gdb as that's the file containing your data. Believe on a mac it's at user/Library/Application Support/Garmin

If you can't find it could you have accidentally deleted it?

You could try using Basecamp --> Settings --> Advanced --> Library --> Choose Library and navigate to the existing file in user/Library/Application Support/Garmin/Basecamp/Databse/4.8
