When starting to calculate a route it goes so far then crashes, always appears to do it on the same landmark
Which map are you using? Does it crash on all maps or just one? Have you tried uninstall then reinstall of BaseCamp?
Latest map as downloaded from my GPS and I have uninstalled BaseCamp
BaseCamp doesn't download maps from a GPS, it simply indexes them so they can be displayed. Which map is it?

Hmmm ... try installing it to you mac using Express and see if it then crashes
