If I invert a route does this mean I loose the original one or does basecamp create a new inverted route?

I want to invert a route that I have made on basecamp. However I want to keep the original. Will base camp automaticaly kep the original do this or will I loose the original?

BaseCamp does not create a copy when you invert it, so you have to do that yourself beforehand (use "Duplicate" command).
