Connect map version and purchasing Topo Maps.

Have just purchashed a Garmin Fenix 6S Pro Solar.

Using Connect to plan a walk through France. The Fennix came with maps. Are these the maps that are shown in Connect Web/App?

If I pay for a Topo Map of France, will the I presume extra detail show-up in Connect Web and on the App?

I have tried using BaseCamp for Mac, but have not had any luck connect to the Fenix. Would the purchased Topo Map show up in Basecamp?

It would probably help if you also posted the version of Basecamp your using, computer, etc. Seems to me you're pretty vague with the details so trying to help you is tough! Take the time to post some specifics and you may get more help...
