Hi!
I've downloaded a map, installed it on my Mac using Garmin MapManager (it puts the file in the folder /Users/bram/Library/Application Support/Garmin/Maps). After that, it works well in BaseCamp.
Subsequently I installed this map on my device (GPSMAP 64s) using Garmin MapInstall, which also works fine. It creates a .img file on the device and when I disconnect the device from the Mac, the maps works well on the disconnected device.
After that I uninstalled the map from my Mac by removing the file from the above mentioned folder. After that, it doesn't show in BaseCamp anymore as expected.
What I don't understand: when I now connect my device to my Mac and start Basecamp, it shows all maps that are installed on my device, except for the map that used to be in the folder above as well.
Does BaseCamp make a difference between maps installed on a device using MapInstall and Maps installed by simple copying files to the device? For me it is annoying that one cannot get a good overview of all installed maps when connecting a device.
Any ideas? Is this normal?
